Gopher Grind

For this project, I explored logotype design and created a brand identity for a fictitious coffee company accompanied with a logo animation and packaging design. I explored blending historical and contemporary design to create a visual identity that feels luxurious and premium.

I designed the logo by combining two different typefaces that felt elegant and nostalgic. I wanted this brand to reach an older audience that enjoy paying for premium goods and experiences.

I paired the logo with an Art Deco style typeface and a serif typeface to create a classic and luxurious identity. I combined Art Deco line art with a modern line art illustration of coffee beans and flowers from the coffee plant to be used as a pattern for packaging.
